Art school Italy

SACI Studio Art Centers International, Florence, Italy, was founded in Tuscany in 1975 as a U.S. non-profit 501 c (3) educational institution for undergraduate and graduate university-level students seeking fully accredited studio art and liberal arts instruction. SACI offers Art school Italy and five different programs of study to meet the diverse needs of students: Academic Year Abroad, Academic Semester Abroad, Post-Baccalaureate Program, MFA Program, and Summer Studies.

The mission of Studio Art Centers International is to provide a focused Art school Italy of depth and seriousness of challenge at undergraduate and graduate U.S. university levels. The Art school Italy studio disciplines are to be complemented by courses in the humanities since Studio Art Centers International is convinced that undertaking courses in both areas is essential in the formation of the artist.

SACI's goals are to make the overseas Art school Italy study experience pertinent by ensuring that the highest level of instruction in all areas is made available and providing in optimal settings creative intellectual and aesthetic opportunities for the formative artist. SACI believes that a clear, complete educational structure explaining the important contributions of foreign cultures and their historic matrix is vital to Art school Italy studies.

SACI is therefore dedicated to providing an excellent and balanced curriculum of sufficient breadth and scope; a teaching plant adequate and appropriate to Art school Italy studies in varied disciplines and techniques; and a motivated staff and administration whose preparation and philosophy is that most suitable to enable students to realize the full potential of a study period abroad. Understanding other cultures and the promotion of international exchange are implicit in SACI's mission. SACI is committed to providing the means and the personnel to help creative persons utilize to the maximum their Art school Italy experience.

Studio Art Centers International is accredited as an institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD). Additionally, SACI is accredited for undergraduate and graduate US university-level study through its affiliation with Bowling Green State University, which is a US degree-granting institution accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools.
